A good fit starts with a check.

Angle-based sleep needs a readable lid-angle sensor. Keep-awake sessions solve a different problem and cannot override every type of sleep.

01

Apple silicon + macOS 13 or later

Current development target. A complete model-by-model compatibility list is not yet available.

02

A readable LAS / lid-angle signal

Required for angle-based assistance. A replacement display alone does not prove compatibility.

03

A real sleep and wake test

Opening the lid must first cause a hardware wake. The app cannot run while the CPU remains asleep.

04

A clear boundary

No kernel extension or modification of Apple display authentication. Ordinary keep-awake does not guarantee closed-lid operation.
